Orthopedic Anatomy discusses the anatomy of bone, types of bones, anatomy of skeletal muscle, types of skeletal muscles, anatomy of tendons, types of tendons, anatomy of ligaments, types of ligaments, anatomy of bone joints, types of bone joints, etc. There are some orthopedic Courses at HRTD Medical Institute.

The Courses are PDT Orthopedics for 6 Months, PDT Orthopedics for 1 Year, and PDT Orthopedics for 2 Years. After completing a Diploma Medical Course you can study for PDT Orthopedic Courses. Diploma Medical Courses are long and short, like DMF, DMA 3 Years, DMA 2 Years, DMA 1 Year, DMS 3 Years, DMS 2 Years, DMA 1 Year, DMDS 4 Years, etc.

Musculoskeletal System

In Orthopedic Anatomy Musculoskeletal System is the main focus point.

দেহের যে system দ্বারা চলন কার্য সম্পাদিত হয় তাকে চলনতন্ত্র বা Musculoskeletal System বলে। এই System টি skeleton এবং skeletal muscle দ্বারা গঠিত।

206 খানা bone দ্বারা ‍skeleton গঠিত।

দেহের যে muscle গুলি হাড়ের সাথে সংযুক্ত থাকে তাদেরকে skeletal muscle বলে।

Define skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle

Skeletal Muscle

যে সকল muscle হাড়ের সাথে সংযুক্ত এবং হাড়কে নড়াচড়ার কাজে ব্যবহৃত হয় তাদেরকে ‍skeletal muscle বলে।যেমন : Deltoid muscle, Brachialis muscle.

Cardiac Muscle

যে সকল muscle দ্বারা heart গঠিত এবং heart pump এর কাজ সম্পাদিত হয় তাদেরকে cardiac muscle বলে।

Define Smooth Muscle. Mention the function of smooth muscle.

Smooth muscle হচেছ এক বিশেষ ধরনের মসৃন muscle যাহা ‍stomach , Intestine ইত্যাদির মত ফাপা অঙ্গ তৈরী করে , ফাপা অঙ্গ গুলির shape পরিবর্তন করাই smooth muscle এর কাজ। ‍Shape পরিবর্তন করলে ভিতরের বস্ত move করতে সহজ হয়।

Function of cardiac muscle:

সংকোচন প্রসারনের মাধ্যমে blood পাম্প করা।

Function of smooth muscle:

Hollow organ/ ফাপা অঙ্গ গুলির shape পরিবর্তন করানো।

Tendon

Muscle এর সাথে bone সংযোগকারী connective tissue কে tendon বলে।

Ligament

Bone এর সাথে bone এর সংযোগকারী connective tissue কে ligament বলে।

• Joint এর পার্শ্ববর্তী ligament, bursa বা tendon এ আঘাত প্রাপ্তি
• Joint infection
• Osteoarthritis বা Rheumatoid arthritis
